Synthesis:
- Design a map for someone who is lost to follow.
- Compose a poem about the cardinal directions.
Analysis:
- What are some of the problems of getting lost?
- Design an interview to ask people what they would do if they were lost. Compare results.
Application:
- Would this information be useful if you were ever lost? Why or why not?
- Make a clay model of a compass.
Comprehension:
- Cut out or draw pictures to show the four cardinal directions and where they are located in relation to each other.
- Can you provide a definition for the cardinal directions?
